Global Research Fundraising: Stop the Pentagon’s Ides of March

***

On March 22, at around 20:00 Moscow Time, a horrendous terrorist attack occurred at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a small city in the Moscow oblast (region), just west/northwest outside of the city limits of Russia’s capital.

Four terrorists directly carried out the mass shooting, while some were filmed cutting the throats of unarmed civilians.

As of this writing, the death toll was 137 killed and over 180 wounded. The total tally could be worse, as dozens of people are critically injured and may not survive in the following days.

The attack left Russia and the world in shock. Despite the ongoing NATO-orchestrated conflict in Ukraine, the country has been largely safe from such attacks.

The FSB and other relevant services have prevented hundreds of similar attempts over the years, meaning that the latest terrorist attack certainly has elements that are not consistent with the usual pattern.

Some in the political West, as well as the foreign-backed opposition in Russia, are accusing the FSB of supposed “incompetence”, obviously trying to use the tragedy for political purposes.

However, Russian services promptly arrested the attackers and detained at least 11 other suspects, preventing some of them from reaching the border with Ukraine.

It’s rather peculiar that the terrorists chose to leave Russia in such a way, especially considering that it’s effectively impossible to cross the border between the two countries due to the ongoing conflict.

Thus, the involvement of the Neo-Nazi junta is already implied due to this alone.

And yet, that isn’t where the evidence for this hypothesis stops. The monstrous glee over the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack shown by the top-ranking Kiev regime officials is not only disturbing, but makes them the prime suspects in the ongoing investigation as to who organized it.

One such individual (because calling them “people” would be too much of a stretch) is the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov. One of Zelensky’s closest associates, Danilov has been extremely hawkish since day one and has openly insisted on launching as many sabotage and terrorist attacks as possible, regardless of whether it was against the Russian military or civilians, including in former Ukrainian territories that joined Russia, meaning that Danilov doesn’t care if the victims are Russians or people his government officially considers its own citizens.

In a video recently published by Zvezda News, Danilov demonstrated the full abomination of his already deranged personality.

Namely, he not only praised the terrorist attack, but also mocked the victims and Russia as a whole, once again demonstrating that the Neo-Nazi junta’s clinical Russophobia is of an unequivocally genocidal nature.

“Having fun in Moscow today? I think it’s a lot of fun. I would like to believe that we will arrange such fun for them more often. After all, they are ‘brotherly’ people, and you need to please your relatives more often and visit them more often. So, we’ll walk,” Danilov said.

In other words, apart from open support for the terrorists, he effectively threatened to arrange more such attacks.

The video is so disturbing and enraging that its authenticity has been called into question.

And indeed, it’s yet to be 100% confirmed that Danilov actually said this.

However, such statements are certainly not out of the ordinary for the Kiev regime.

Namely, one of its former top-ranking officials, Aleksey Arestovich, openly showed his admiration for the so-called Islamic State (previously known as ISIS and ISIL) and its depraved ways. What’s more, his statements about this predate the special military operation (SMO), meaning that this wasn’t some emotional reaction to it, but a conviction that Arestovich held for years. ISIS/ISIL/IS is a global Islamic terrorist group, infamous for horrific war crimes, destruction and simply havoc they have brought upon the peoples of Syria, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, the Philippines, etc.

On the other hand, while the terrorists who attacked the Crocus City Hall were obviously inspired by the IS, to conclude that’s all there is to it would be naive, to say the least.

The Neo-Nazi junta formally issued statements contradicting the sadistic gleefulness of its own top-ranking officials. In fact, they not only denied involvement, but also accused Russia of a supposed “false flag”.

In a statement for Ukrainska Pravda, given minutes after the initial reports about the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack, Andrii Yusov, a GUR (Kiev regime’s military intelligence) spokesperson said that this was a “deliberate provocation by Putin’s special services”. Yusov’s accusations came at a time when the Afghanistan-based ISIS-K (Khorasan Province) took responsibility, while the Russian government still hadn’t issued any official statements. It’s almost as if Yusov was trying to preemptively shift responsibility for the terrorist attack.

However, from a purely logical standpoint, Moscow had no reasons to conduct such a “false flag”. The presidential election demonstrated the unity of the Russian people, cemented by the crawling NATO aggression against their country.

Thus, this terrorist attack would accomplish nothing that Russia didn’t already have.

On the other hand, the Neo-Nazi junta and its overlords in the political West stand to gain everything from this. Apart from insisting that Russian services are supposedly “incompetent”, thus undermining their reputation, Moscow’s enemies also get the benefit of fomenting and exploiting religious divisions in Russia, particularly between ethnic Russians and various Muslim minorities. This comes at a time when the latter have shown overwhelming support for their country, as demonstrated by a large number of Muslims in the Russian military, be it Tatars, Bashkirs, Chechens, etc.

There’s also a geopolitical dimension to it, as most Muslim-majority countries around the world have shown full support for Moscow, meaning that any internal conflict on religious grounds in Russia would diminish that support.

On the other hand, we all know full well who controls the actions of the Kiev regime, which leads to perhaps the most important piece of the puzzle – the involvement of the United States and NATO. Namely, just two weeks before the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall, the American Embassy in Moscow called on US citizens in Russia to avoid public gatherings.

Why would Washington DC instruct its (arguably) most important embassy to make such an announcement unless they knew something was coming?

It’s monstrously hypocritical of the US to offer condolences when, at the very least, it knew that an attack was coming, but chose not to warn the Russian side.

On the other hand, this begs the question of how did Washington DC know, further implying that it was actually involved. South Front reports that, quoting leaked information, the four terrorists were recruited by a man named Salmon Khurasani, known to have close links to both the CIA and IS in Central Asia.

It should be noted that the cooperation of US intelligence and various terrorist and extremist organizations is a fact publicly acknowledged by top-ranking American officials.

Their close links have been heavily documented for decades, with Washington DC openly working with Islamic radicals to destabilize the Soviet Union and later Russia. This brings us to the second anniversary of the SMO when the infamous neocon warmonger Victoria Nuland said that the so-called “military aid” provided by the US to the Neo-Nazi junta will ensure that “Putin faces some nasty surprises on the battlefield this year”.

Such statements show that Washington DC has effectively launched a total war against Moscow.

The reason why the term “total war” is the most fitting is because it includes a plethora of tools that are being used against Russia, including deep psy-ops that are supposed to shape the narrative.

It’s only a matter of time before the political West launches its own propaganda campaign that Moscow conducted a supposed “false flag”.

This accomplishes at least two important goals. First, it shows that the US can supposedly “predict events” (when the truth is that it actually engineers them), and two, it creates the illusion that Russia wanted to initiate a wider conflict with the said “false flag”.

However, what many keep forgetting is that the US-led political West has a propensity for projection, especially through mass media such as movies, TV series and video games, all very effective ways to influence the masses and public opinion.

Namely, video gamers surely remember the hugely popular Call of Duty series, specifically its Modern Warfare 2 iteration, published in 2009.

For those who don’t know, there is a particularly disturbing level in it called “No Russian”.

In short, it boils down to a “Russian ultranationalist” group storming the Domodedovo airport in Moscow, killing hundreds of civilians in the process. In-game, this was later used as an excuse by Russia to attack the entire NATO.

Interestingly, the main protagonist in the aforementioned level is a CIA agent named Joseph Allen. His goal was to infiltrate the “Russian ultranationalist group” that launched the false flag.

So, what does this have to do with current events? Well, it’s quite clear that NATO’s strategic planners have a tendency to project events through mass media years or decades in advance. And it should be noted that the entire Modern Warfare segment of the Call of Duty franchise goes even further.

Back in 2019, the already overtly Russophobic Modern Warfare was rebooted specifically to present the Russians in an even worse light. The Pentagon insisted that Moscow, particularly its soldiers, are shown in a dehumanizing manner.

To that end, it even pinned American war crimes on Russia.

Namely, the first part of the reboot recreated the so-called “Highway of Death”, an American war crime committed in Iraq during the (First) Gulf War and shamelessly presented it as a fictional “Russian war crime in Syria”.

It should be noted that the first part of the reboot was released back in 2019, which was three years before the SMO. Either way, it’s perfectly clear that the political West’s endgame is to not only dehumanize the Russian people and manufacture hatred toward them through mass media, but to also shape the narrative and public opinions with preplanned events, often years or decades in advance.
