Host: Stephen Lendman
This week’s guests: Peter Hallward and Laila Al-Arian are the featured guests on The Global Research News Hour.
Peter Hallward is a UK Middlesex University Professor of Modern European Philosophy and author of “Damming the Flood: Haiti, Aristide, and the Politics of Containment.” Critics are effusive in their praise for what physician and Haiti expert Paul Farmer calls “the best study of its kind (offering) the first accurate analysis of recent Haitian history.” Others agree about a book that’s superb, well-sourced, thorough, accurate and invaluable. Haiti’s tragic recent history will be discussed with the author.
Laila Al-Arian is Sami Al-Arian’s daughter. Her father is a political prisoner in Police State America – falsely accused, exonerated in court, yet imprisoned since February 2003. His life is now in jeopardy.
RBN is on KU Satellite: Transponder Frequency 11836, Symbol Rate 2Ø77Ø, @ 97 degrees west.
