Ramzy Baroud is a veteran Palestinian-American journalist and former Al-Jazeera producer. He also taught Mass Communication at Australia’s Curtin University of Technology, and is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Palestine Chronicle, a vital resource for information on Israel/Palestine and much more.
Baroud has written many articles, commentaries and short stories. He also authored several books, including his latest “The Second Palestinian Intifada: A Chronicle of A People’s Struggle.”
Conditions in Occupied Palestine will be discussed, especially in Gaza under siege after Israel’s latest chokehold tightening.
Richard Wolff is a professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts and is well-known for his work on Marxian economics, economic methodology, and class analysis.
He’s written numerous articles and books on topics ranging from modern imperialism; the economics of colonialism; rethinking Marxism; class theory, structures and history; the current economic crisis, and much more for over 40 years.
In a recent public talk, he said capitalism was hitting the fan at a time of the greatest crisis in his lifetime. He presented a Marxian analysis and proposed a socialist solution. That topic will be discussed on the program.
