James Fetzer is the distinguished Department of Philosophy McKnight University Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
He’s a prolific author of numerous articles and 20 books in the philosophy of science and on the theoretical foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence and cognitive science.
He’s also the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, a non-partisan association of faculty, students, and scholars, dedicated to exposing the official lies, removing the shroud of deceit, and revealing the truths behind 9/11.
Discussion will cover that issue and other key topics.
Richard Wolff is Economics Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, now teaching in Manhattan at the New School University and Brecht Forum. He’s also writing and making documentaries on the global economic crisis, one finished and another planned for the summer.
Wolff is well-known for his work on Marxian economics, economic methodology, and class analysis. He’s written numerous articles and books on topics ranging from modern imperialism; the economics of colonialism; rethinking Marxism; class theory, structures and history; the global economic crisis, and much more for over 40 years.
“Capitalism hit the fan,” according to Wolff. His analysis and a proposed solution will be discussed.
John McMurtry is Professor Emeritus of the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He’s a moral philosopher, ethicist, outspoken critic of the “new world order,” and vocal activist for global justice, world peace, and international law. His books include Unequal Freedoms, The Cancer Stage of Capitalism, and Value Wars.
The corrosive effects of predatory capitalism under an administration promising change will be discussed.
