Global Research Radio: The World Under a Microscope

In October 2012, the Global Research News Hour (GRNH) presented by Michael Welch was first aired on Winnipeg University Community Radio station CKUW 95.9FM.

Since that first broadcast, the program has been airing on several community radio stations across Canada and the United States. In addition, the podcast is available for download at our website globalresearch.ca and at the Progressive Radio Network at prn.fm.

GRNH Radio host and producer Michael Welch has interviewed prominent authors, politicians and activists on a variety of topics including the Paris terror attacks, Turkey and the ISIS, the crisis in Ukraine, the economic recession, the aftermath of  Fukushima, climate change.

Our current objective is to expand our reach across North America and online in order to render our broadcasts accessible to as many people as possible.

To meet this objective, all contributions to the Global Research Fundraising Campaign made during the following week will go directly to the Global Research News Hour.

We are greatly indebted to the University of Winnipeg for hosting the GRNH, and to Boston College for broadcasting our program in the US. We ask our readers to donate generously in order to enable this essential endeavor to extend its reach across North America in collaboration with local level community radio stations.
