This Week’s Guests: Ramzy Baroud, Stephen Downs and Kathy Manly

Ramzy Baroud is a veteran Palestinian-American journalist and former Al-Jazeera producer. He also taught Mass Communication at Australia’s Curtin University of Technology and is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Palestine Chronicle, a vital resource for information on Israel/Palestine and much more.

Baroud has written many articles, commentaries and short stories and is the author of several books. His latest is “The Second Palestinian Intifada: A Chronicle of A People’s Struggle.

His book and life in Occupied Palestine will be discussed on the program.

Stephen Downs and Kathy Manly are New York-based defense attorneys connected to political prisoner Yassin Aref. Downs is retired and a former member of Aref’s legal team, but he still represents his interests. Kathy Manly is an active member of Aref’s legal team.

Aref is an innocent man. He was victimized by an FBI frame and police state justice. He’s now in federal prison. His conviction was appealed on March 24. Both lawyers will discuss his case and current status.
