Tehran – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that the arrest of terrorist ring leader Abdulmalek Rigi has humiliated the intelligence services of the US, Britain and the Zionist regime. President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with minister of information, ministry staff and top security officials.
Iran’s intelligence forces have the most transparent performance in the world, said the Iranian president. He advised the ministry to adopt more coordinated and powerful stands in dealing with classified issues. Liberal democracy and global hegemony led by the US are bent on fighting the Islamic Revolution, he said. They have committed the most inhuman crimes and atrocities worldwide under the guise of human rights, he said. The Islamic Revolution has challenged materialistic schools of thought while Marxism has disappeared from the world, said the Iranian president, adding that the capitalism is on the verge of collapse. US aggression and NATO;s military operations in the region are aimed at saving liberal democracy and capitalism schools of thought, he said. The September 11 attack on the US and collapse of twin towers were parts of complicated intelligence move to give enough excuses for them to prepare the ground for invasion of Afghanistan under pretext of fighting terrorism, he said.
