VIDEOS: McCain Faces the Wrath of Americans Opposed to Syria War

Compilation and commentary by Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya.

In-depth Report:

Aside from the challenge its faces against starting a war from the united front formed by Syria’s friends and allies in Iran, Russia, China, Lebanon, Latin America, and elsewhere  and a lack of support from the international community, the Obama Administration is facing enormous public opposition inside the United States.

The warmongers in Washington face a serious threat to their legitimacy.

Warmongers like Senator John McCain — a man who plays video poker when something as serious as a war with Syria, which would cost the lives of numerous people, is being discussed during an important Senate committee hearing — have been facing many angry American citizens in Arizona and elsewhere telling them loudly that they will not support or “accept” an attack.

As American citizens see that the US government has been supporting the likes of Al-Qaeda in places like Libya and Syria,  now the false narratives of the hollow “Global War on Terror” that the US presented to justify its invasions of countries like Afghanistan and Iraq in the fight against Al-Qaeda have come back to hunt it. Americans, including those in the US Armed Forces, are asking why have we been supporting Al-Qaeda?

The following footage has been compiled for consideration as examples of the internal popular opposition to a US-led attack on Syria inside the United States.

The mainstream media cannot hide the opposition that John McCain, Joseph Lieberman, Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, John Kerry, and Barack Obama are facing. Even their supporters are turning against them.

Citizens have even accused them publicly of treason and betrayal to the United States and peace.

In the footage below McCain tries to laugh the warnings of one man away. The man clearly tells hims that he does not believe anything he hears from the US government about the chemical weapons attack in Syria.

McCain even lost his cool as he was called a liar and supporter of terrorism. Rattled by these challenges, McCain has tried his best to deny by mostly avoiding questions.

Members of the military and US veterans have also challenged them. In the video we can see McCain being booed after he insults a veteran from the US Marine Corps.

The mainstream media has tried to enable this war to no avail.

Despite interrupting this ordinary citizen as a means of preventing her from talking about key points, including the use of chemical weapons by the Israelis and the US military in Iraq, CNN cannot hold back the truth about popular opposition to an attack on Syria and the fact that the US and its allies have been supporting ruthless mercenaries and deviants in Syria.

US citizens and the world, however, should not let their guards down. There is still a lot that needs to be done to disarm the war machine.
