Dear media representatives, dear compatriots!
First, because in Ukraine spread all sorts of rumors about me, I would say that I’m alive. Although I can not say that I feel good. Because I can not without expressing the deepest sense of great alarm to see what is happening in Ukraine.
Behind a screen of some supposedly competent government the country has a gang of neo-fascists and ultra-nationalists who are already labeled for the presidency. They force capture local authorities, they fired guide police and security services not only in the center, in Kiev, but also in the field. Patrolled the city masked men with bandages on his hands. There is growing outrage against the citizens of Ukraine. They fired top army officers, those who do not want opposes the use of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the south-east of the country against the civilian population.
Ponder, they want to put the army under the banner of Bandera and civil war.
They want to include in the armed forces militant nationalist organizations, give them weapons. I want to ask the patrons of these dark forces in the West: are you blind?
Have you lost your memory?
Have you forgotten what fascism is?
But I am sure the officers and soldiers of Ukraine know, unlike you, respected ministers of European countries who signed the document is not to assure me, and safeguards of civil peace in Ukraine and stomped this document, unlike a gang of villains that on Independence gave the order to fire on theri own people, – and so, the soldiers and officers understand what you stand for, and will not carry out your criminal orders.
I reaffirm that I not only remain the only legitimate president of Ukraine, but also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. I did not give up those powers. I’m alive, I have not been be removed from office in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine.
In the United States, other countries insist that I, as president, allegedly lost legitimacy because I fled the country. I repeat, I’m not copping out. At the time of capture radicals government buildings, the Presidential Administration, in fact unconstitutional seizure of power, with weapons in hand, I was, as you all know, in Ukraine – Kharkiv, Donetsk and then, later in the Crimea.
Once again, during the revolution I did not leave the territory of Ukraine.
These days against me repeatedly tried to use terrorist methods of action. Failed. As soon as circumstances permit – sure, long wait – I’ll definitely be back to Kiev. Declare that the presidential elections are declared on May 25 seized as a result of an unconstitutional coup, power clique is illegitimate and illegal. They do not comply with Article 103 of the Constitution of Ukraine. Any government, which will be formed as a result of these illegal elections as illegitimate and illegal. In addition to their legal legitimacy, it is clear that these so-called elections will be if will take place in conditions of total control by extremist forces.
I appeal to the international community. Nobody has the right and should not encourage and support the robbery unconstitutional coups. By the way, all known information about the U.S. government’s intention to allocate $ 1 billion this gangster regime. As far as I know, U.S. law, Article 84.22, section 22 of the U.S. Code prohibits providing financial assistance to the Government of any State, the legally elected president who was deposed in a military coup or other illegal decision. I intend to apply to the Congress, the Senate and the U.S. Supreme Court with an urgent proposal to give legal assessment of the actions of the Government. You may not, according to your own laws, to allocate money to gangsters.
I want to warn that in the near future will be a serious deterioration of the socio-economic situation in the country. This will be a direct blow to the people of Ukraine. Usurpers, who seized power, will try to shift the responsibility on me. And perhaps even Russia. I will never agree to this. I have nothing to do. And they planned steps to scale back social spending, pensions, allowances, wages and anti-people consider inhumane.
I, our government had a clear plan for the conservation of the living standards of Ukrainians.Now, after the anti-constitutional coup, after seizing power usurpers, unfortunately, this has become impossible. And you, who seized power illegally, for orders to shoot at people, sooner or later, and probably sooner, the answer!
Answer for suffering people. Ukraine is going through a difficult time. Your actions have led to the fact that splits off Crimea, even at gunpoint population southeast requires respect for themselves and their rights.
We will survive this turmoil. People fooled you see the light.
