We then return to our coverage of the Freedom Flotilla 2 whose vessels have been seized and confined to dock by the Greek government. Finally, we look at the legal campaign to hold Haiti’s “Baby Doc Duvalier” accountable for thefts and crimes he committed against the Haitian people.

Today on Flashpoints we return to the escalating war in Libya after it was revealed that France has been arming rebels there since April in violation of a United Nations resolution. We then talk to a captain of one of the freighters that is part of the Freedom Flotilla 2 sailing out of Athens, Greece to Israeli occupied Gaza sometime next week. Next we look at a new report that reveals the real costs of war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Finally we update the situation on three ongoing nuclear crises in the United States and a new simulation model of radioactive dust that hit the United States following the nuclear disaster at Fukushima Japan.

We also take a look at the freedom flotilla 2 that will be leaving Athens Greece to call attention to the inhumane blockade of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Israeli government.
